It Is About Meaning

I think I finally realize and  I should remember that people are succesful by doing something that is meaningful for themselces regardless it is meaningful or not for other people, regardless it is beneficial or not for other people.

Reading news about Bill Cunningham, as a photographer seem he has done it his entire life and has dedicated his life as fashion photography. And as a photographer his work must be subjective. He shared something from his very personal lens of what is important or meaningful for him to be captured and shared. Although he might do it based on request but still he took the picture by himself, used his own hands, through his own eyes and his on decision of what he thought worth of a shot.

I can say photography is a very self centric work but still people really appreciate his work, he is treated special in big fashion shows. People trusting the best seat in front row of every fashion show on him, trusting that he will share something worth to see from the fashion show. People trust him upon something that is really based in his judgement.

But I think this is what make it interesting, people like Bill Cunningham is notable by doing something that matters for himself. As well as writer like J. K. Rolling, writing for years without letting people know about it, get the story rejected for years but keep writing. I believe it happens not because she believes that the book will be succesful, but simply as an act that is important for them.
